I was worried that I wouldn't get Thanksgiving off. It's only been a couple of years since mom died and this was just the second Thanksgiving. Joy and happiness! I did get it off... and got sick. Don't know what this is but it's making me misrable. Aches, chills, sore throat, congestion... couldn't sleep last night and I called in sick to work. I felt bad about this and hate using my PTO like that. I'd rather use it for fun things, trips with my guy for instance.
