It's been a while and I read that last entry and knew it was time for an update.

In October, the company I was working for gave me a weeks notice.

I immediately started emailing everyone I could think of asking if there were any openings where they were at. One of them replied with a posting and I sent my resume in with a cover letter mentioning several people I know who work there. One of them seemed to have a little "pull". I was hired!

I have been here since the end of October and love it! I'm a "PC Specialist" and... bonus... now make four grand a year more than I made at the last place.

Things are looking up.
